Details

The Alchemy string line is a new and unique development in acoustic guitar string design and manufacturing.Developed as a
response to many player’s complaints about the dull sound and
uncomfortable feel from traditional coated strings, Alchemy’s outer
wrap wire is treated with MC394K, derived from satellite
technology. This special metallic finish resists corrosion for a
longer-lasting string, but with the same great feel and tone as
other Dean Markley acoustic strings.And unlike coated strings,
where only the wound strings are coated, all Alchemy wound and
plain strings are treated for consistent long-life, feel, tone, and a
gold-colored finish.
Available in GoldBronze: a warm, balanced 85/15 Bronze and
GoldPhos: brighter-soundiing 92/8 Phosphor Bronze.
